As used in this article, the words and phrases herein defined shall have the following meanings:
(a) Truck shall mean every motor vehicle designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property.
(b) Trailer shall mean every vehicle with or without motive power, other than a pole trailer, designed for carrying persons or property and for being drawn by a motor vehicle, and so constructed that no part of its weight rests upon the towing vehicle.
(c) Trucks or other Commercial Vehicles means any truck, trailer, pickup truck trailer, tractor of any vehicle whether self-propelled by an engine or motor or whether the same is towed behind or pushed ahead of a motor vehicle when such vehicle or combination of vehicles has a gross weight of 20,000 lbs. or more, and is including, but not limited to any construction equipment such as motor patrols or graders, bulldozers or caterpillar-type tractors but shall not include any city sanitation truck.
(d) Gross Weight shall mean the total weight of any loaded truck or trailer or any other combination of vehicles being towed or pushed by a similar propelling vehicle.
(e) Park as used in this article shall mean the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, otherwise then temporarily for the purpose of and while engaged in loading or unloading property or passengers.

(a) All trucks and commercial vehicles as defined above shall use the designated truck routes of Mary Street and Fry Street and shall follow the truck route to a point nearest its destination and return it to the truck route therefrom by the shortest practical route.
(b) Any person found in violation of this article shall be subject to a minimum fine of $30 and a maximum fine of $200.

Truck and commercial vehicles prohibited on streets not designated as truck route. Exceptions: No truck or other commercial vehicle shall be operated upon the streets and alleys of the city not designated as a truck route, except that this article shall not apply to any truck or other commercial vehicle while engaged in serving a residence or commercial establishment on any street or other commercial vehicle owned by any person, firm, copartnership or corporation that have vehicles stationed with a residence or commercial establishment located on such street or alley, provided however, that any such truck or commercial vehicle shall follow the truck route to a point nearest its destination and return it to the truck route therefrom by the shorter practical route.

No truck or commercial vehicle shall be, at any time, parked or left unattended in any street or alley of the city, provided, however, that nothing herein shall prohibit the loading or unloading of cargo to or from any such vehicle or parking any such vehicle for emergency refueling, making emergency repair or other emergency purposes.
