CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF YATES CENTER FROM K.S.A. 47-1704.

Section 1. That pursuant to Article 12, Section 5(c) of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, the City of Yates Center is forthwith exempting itself from the requirements of K.S.A. 47-1704 and by doing, so, making inapplicable to the City of Yates Center the requirement under the aforementioned statute of obtaining a certificate of registration from the Livestock Commissioner, Kansas Health Department, to operate an animal pound or animal shelter as a pound in the City of Yates Center, Kansas.
